Hypebeast Twenty T-Shirt Exhibition Lands in Hong Kong for Third Stop of Global Tour
Hypebeast, the leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle, has brought its 20th anniversary world tour to its home base, Hong Kong, for its third residency. Following successful activations in New York and Tokyo, the Hypebeast Twenty T-Shirt Exhibition had its stint at BELOWGROUND LANDMARK from February 6–22, 2026. This installation charted the platform’s evolution into a global authority through the curated lens of the T-shirt as a vital cultural marker.
The curated exhibit centered on the T-shirt as the ultimate democratic medium for self-expression and a vital canvas for pop culture history. To elevate the experience, the space featured a specialized spatial dialogue created by local artist Orange Terry, who blended contemporary art with streetwear heritage. This collaboration brought a unique Hong Kong perspective to the global tour, which used an immersive environment to serve as a physical stage for the collection of 20th-anniversary collaborative T-shirts created alongside a roster of iconic partners including Supreme, fragment design, BAPE, Neighborhood, Human Made, and the Virgil Abloh Archive.
Strategically positioned alongside the newly opened Hypebeans and Gallery HBX, the exhibition transformed BELOWGROUND into a comprehensive cultural hub. By reconnecting with the local community, Hypebeast used this installation to celebrate identity and the enduring power of fashion as a cultural marker. The experience served as both a retrospective of the brand’s two-decade journey and a forward-looking statement on the evolving landscape of style.
While the physical exhibition in Hong Kong has concluded, limited quantities of the anniversary T-shirt collection remain available for purchase online at hbx.com. This Hong Kong installment stands as a landmark celebration of the creators and the community that remain at the core of the brand’s global identity.
