André 3000 身背鋼琴、手持垃圾袋現身 Met Gala 紅毯，瞬間吸引全場目光。向來避免直白宣傳專輯的他，這次造型卻暗藏推廣意圖。這位多才多藝的音樂人在踏上紅毯前，揭曉了一個驚喜音樂項目 ——《7 piano sketches》。
André 在聲明中透露：「這項目最初命名為《The Best Worst Rap Album In History》。」原始描述摘錄寫道：「它開玩笑地被稱為史上最差的說唱專輯，因為完全沒有歌詞。但它又是最好的，因為它在情感上最自由，也是我個人感覺最好的作品。它像是一劑清新劑，對我來說意義非凡。」
正如其名，這張 EP 包含七首新曲，總長 16 分 30 秒，展現 André 3000 獨特的音樂實驗精神。
