Bottega Veneta 關閉官方社群帳戶約莫一個月後,據 WWD 近日報導指出,奢侈品行業巨頭開雲集團(Kering)首席執行官 François-Henri Pinault 表示:「 Bottega Veneta 並沒有從社交網絡中消失,只是以不同形式露出,該決定使品牌的社交形象與定位能更顯著呈現。」

同時強調旗下的每家公司都有自己的行銷策略,而開雲集團旗下品牌包括 GucciSaint LaurentAlexander McQueen 等,為其解釋:「我們致力保持每個品牌的相容且互補性,同時避免複製相同的東西,多年來 Bottega Veneta 的定位儼然已非常具體。」並引用 2021 春夏系列非常規的展演方式,完美詮釋「人性化」品牌代碼。在不受專門的社群帳號束縛下,明確表明群眾對事物的高度信任,舉例來說,Gucci 現已成為TikTok上發展最快的品牌之一,並認為創意總監 Daniel Lee 採用社交媒體戰略似乎已開始奏效。
