Russell Westbrook 交易至 Houston Rockets 已成定局，Oklahoma City Thunder 換來 Chris Paul、2024 和 2026 年首輪選秀籤、2021 及 2025 年選秀互換權。而 Westbrook 在 2008 年以首輪第 4 順位加盟 Thunder，至今 11 年的時間可說是在聯盟建立了強烈的個人形象，想必許多不少球迷對於新賽季他將換上紅色球衣感到相當陌生，但除此之外，最值得期待的便是繼 2012 年後與 James Harden 的再次聯手。
