NBA 交易消息 − LaVar Ball 談 Anthony Davis 交易案：Lakers 從此無法奪得總冠軍
看來父親真的很生氣。
不久前，根據 NBA 著名記者 Adrian Wojnarowski 的消息指出 Pelicans 與 Lakers 正式達成協議，前者送出 Anthony Davis，換得 Lonzo Ball、Brandon Ingram 和 Josh Hart 三位年輕球員，以及包括今年 4 號籤在內的三個首輪選秀權，而一切程序必須等到 7 月 6 日才能正式正式完成。
而過去 Lonzo Ball 的父親 LaVar Ball 就經常對 Lakers 渴望得到 Anthony Davis 進而送出 Lonzo 一事發聲，時常為兒子聲援，如今兒子確定轉投小市場球隊 Pelicans，LaVar Ball 也不客氣地向 Lakers 放話說：我發誓，這是 Lakers 最失敗的一次交易案，更保證 Lakers 從此無法奪得總冠軍。
