Apple 部分員工因不滿新總部 Apple Park 而準備集體離職

歷時八年時間打造，總耗資超過 $50 億美元的 Apple 全新總部 Apple Park，已經從今年開始陸續開始投入使用，然而這個類似「宇宙飛船」的總部卻收到不少質疑，先是《WIRED》作者 Adam Rodgers 撰文批評 Apple 不在乎庫比蒂諾市民的感受，並顯得與這座城市格格不入，如今又有消息表示總部內辦公區域的設計，甚至讓 Apple 自家的員工感到不滿！原來 Apple Park 內採用了全新的開放式辦公室設計，只有資深副總裁，以及更高職位的高管才會配有自己的獨立辦公室。

此外員工的辦公桌也不是完全獨立的，更有不少類似快餐店的長桌設計，這些因素加在一起讓不少員工們抱怨私人空間被剝奪，甚至有不少跟隨 Steve Jobs 進入公司的老臣打算集體離職，其中主導芯片設計的硬件技術高級副總裁 Johny Srouji 便表示：

When he was shown the floor plans, he was more or less just ‘f*ck that, f*ck you, f*ck this, this is bullsh*t. And they built his team their own building, off to the side on the campus… My understanding is that that building was built because Srouji was like, ‘f*ck this, my team isn’t working like this.’

為 Apple 創造過無數驚艷產品的 Jony Ive 和他的設計部門，也是這個 Apple Park 的主要設計者，對於這個近 30 人的隊伍來說，將所有人放在一張大長桌上討論設計已經成為一種常態，但如此開放的設計並不適合於所有部門和員工。至於 Apple 方面將如何挽救這次內部危機，我們拭目以待。
