近代荷里活喪屍之父 George Andrew Romero 逝世
開啟近代喪屍類型電影的偉大創作人。
美國導演 George Andrew Romero 剛剛於睡夢中逝世，享年 77 歲。George 一直是恐怖电影或 Cult 片迷心中的大師級人物，甚至是近代喪屍之父之稱。他的經典之作 1968 年首部喪屍電影《Night of the Living Dead》、《Dawn of the dead》和《Day of the Dead》所組成的喪屍三部曲，不但在當時在口碑和票房上取得重大成功，其作品中的喪屍設定、佈局甚至對於喪屍刻畫更影響了後來的不同喪屍電影或是遊戲電玩包括《BIOHAZARD》；在千禧年後，George 還帶來了《Diary of the Dead》（2007）、《Land of the Dead》（2005）《Survival of the Dead》（2009） 他電影生涯最後 3 部喪屍片。
