震驚籃壇的 UCLA 球員中國盜竊案件已經告一段落，涉嫌作案的 LiAngelo Ball、Cody Riley 和 Jalen Hill 雖然安全回到洛杉磯並公開發表了道歉聲明，但仍被 UCLA 處以不限期停學的處罰，而在案件處理過程中起到關鍵作用的美國總統 Donald Trump 早前也在 Twitter 上公開「邀功」，表示是自己出面才讓他們免去十年監禁生活，不料「球爹」LaVar Ball 卻對他表示不屑，並表示「LiAngelo 被釋放回國跟 Trump 沒什麼關係，而且偷東西也不是什麼大事。」此舉無疑激怒了「吃力不討好」的 Trump，日前他便在 Twitter 上怒斥道：「我幫助 LiAngelo 免去了多年的牢獄之災，LaVar Ball 不僅不知道感激，還說偷墨鏡不是什麼大事。我就應該把他們留在監獄裡，等下次訪華的時候再把他們撈出來。更何況中方告訴他們是為什麼要釋放他們回國，真是太不知好歹了！」
Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!

Shoplifting is a very big deal in China, as it should be (5-10 years in jail), but not to father LaVar. Should have gotten his son out during my next trip to China instead. China told them why they were released. Very ungrateful!
