Matt Williams

Born to Chicago, but raised in California, Matthew Williams has spent the last 10 years working as a creative consultant for some of the world’s most influential names, including Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Rihanna and Alexander McQueen. His experiences in these global subcultures have led to a passion for garment construction and “greater fashion philosophy.” Looking for an outlet that was purely his own, William recently launched ALYX, a brand with both men’s and women’s clothing. Even though he earned an LVMH Prize nomination this year, fashion isn’t his only venture. Matthew continues to do photography and video for the likes of 032c and SHOWstudio to name a few.
