To say that Kanye West had a tremendous 2016 would be an understatement. It seemed like there wasn’t one day in the year that the A-list celebrity didn’t make headlines. West dominated the whole gamut of culture, be it music, fashion, art or footwear. There was the release of The Life of Pablo, multiple adidas Yeezy sneaker drops, his groundbreaking Saint Pablo concerts and merch, as well as the controversy he caused with the release of the music video for “Famous.” The multihyphenate even had time to focus on his own label too, showing both YEEZY SEASONs 3 and 4 in the same year in grand fashion at Madison Square Garden and at Roosevelt Island.
