I would recommend either the Raleigh or Motobecane. They are both great bikes and now it just depends which one looks better to you. I actually like the Motobecane better.

You should sell part by part. If you don't prefer that, you can probably sell your bike for $400-$500.

Try looking for a used on Craigslist or Bikesdirect.

It's not bad for $300. I would buy it, but wait a week or two, you can get lucky and find something better or just as good for less.

if you're really short and could get it for less than 300. That setup has to be for a girl. You might be able to do a bar spin but I have no idea if thats why you want a bike with 650s.

build up your leg muscles and this could be any bike. bike speed is limited to the rider's capabilities.

who said it was a GTB.
I was simply talking about GT styled frames in general.

and whats so funny about riding the track if u have a bike that nice and ur using cleats , ofcousre i would assume u ride the velo riding a hed 3 on the streets is just stupid.
Apr 27, 2010 @ 23:57
Yay.

dude told me it was sold as soon as i texted him smh

anyway that redline ubris looks like a decent ride
Apr 28, 2010 @ 03:41
WAIT ,

I think the urbis is not a fixed gear BUT a single speed , right ?

I say that because I don't see any toe clips.
Apr 28, 2010 @ 09:52
i need help finding a fixed gear...i live it VA so i don't have many people to ride with, but i still want one.

I'm pretty sure he rides with the hed3 on the street. Broaklands aren't meant to be track machines. Last time I checked they were insanely heavy. With that said, I'm jealous that he can afford/has a custom bike. I could never bring myself to drop that much money on a steel bike unless it was a keirin bike.
Apr 28, 2010 @ 11:57
Any love for roadies out there?

None of that pop a wheelie, double mctwist bar spin flippy hub nuts-on-stem no handed skid stuff

i'm talking long distance time trials - metric and us centuries!

09 Felt F3 Super Light
SRAM Red FD/RD + Brifters
SRAM Rival Brakes
S900 Crank 170mm (considering quarg cinqo upgrade)
Easton EA90 Aero w/R4 Hubs
XLab Superwing Setup
Cinelli Ram CF Post
Prologo Nago Pas Cool Team Saddle
Apr 28, 2010 @ 12:51
You'd rather drop bank on a keirin frame, as opposed to a custom fitted frame? Say what?

well i know this.

You realize a Pista is one of the closest to track geometry frames out there, right? Compared to the Kilo and such.
You want to make that more track...

Remove the threadless fork/headset and put on a threaded fork with 38 rake or less.

Take off the Aerospoke.
