One of Thrillmatic's thread made it on there at #2, pretty cool.

They even have a 2008 thread linked on there for the Chicago Hypebeast Meetup.

On another note...put this in the MCHG thread inside of the Music sub-forum and had to add this thought in this thread...but after thinking about the album's promos, cover art, song titles and lyrics...I'm damn certain that the nigga Hov is taking orders from a secret society.

Some of my speculations could be pure bullshit, but some could have you appalled. I mean, some of what I was thinking, you won't even find on some retarded Google Instant type shit. I'm not gonna put out what I believe unless y'all feel it's absolutely necessary, I already turned on Tor so my IP address is blocked. If Obama can use the IRS to go after you for talking shit about him, if he can murk a Paki with a drone strike for giving a jihadist a haircut, then I ain't got no chance whatsoever.
so what was the point of this post

@thrillmatic so because samsung chose him and not some white artist and he's consciously aware of social/economic/political issues that means he's in the illuminati/affiliated with them?

Some of this sounds reasonable, but the whole artists in the Illuminati bs is stupid. If they were apart of these secret societies why would they be leaving you guys clues? They're a "secret" society for a reason, I don't think they'd allow leaving clues for the mass -- easy ones to decode in fact. I read somewhere a couple years back that secret societies will "get rid of you" if you spoke out on their group to the public. Don't know for certain what "get rid of" meant but I'm sure it's something like an excommunication, possibly a shun or even death.(I'm sure it's death.) Now these signs led to the story of Tupac(He was not in the Illuminati, such a bogus story.) Well people said Tupac was killed because he spoke out on the Illuminati or something like that. So if the Illuminati didn't want their "puppets" giving out information to the public, why would they be allowing clues for people that are traceable to them. They are all about secrecy and mostly compiled of intelligent individuals, so they know better than to leave things traceable to their group.

People just come up with the dumbest theories and conspiracies now.

I think it's pretty clear that rappers glamourise things of a occult nature by not only mentioning it but also by wearing clothing with it plastered all over

I know people will say its for publicity etc but to be honest I'm not taking my chances. When rock musicians do it, everyone lambasts them, when rappers do it, 'Ohh they joking b'. It's such a double standard.

Also @Woadie, Drake can piss off

Why would Samsung give the contract to his ugly Joe Camel lookin ass if Katy Perry would've done three times as well? Remember, I don' t know of a electronics corporation ever paying an artist for rights to sell his or her albums.
Why would they need to help Jay Z get his music out? This wasn't even his largest opening week. This is his 13th number 1 album so if he has done it 12 times before why would he need help to get his "message" out this time?
