^ you're giving a mediocre tape too much credit. there's been plenty of other material that was MUCH better than this. it's all opinion based, but the overall consensus is that this tape is average.

although I feel like I'm the only one that thought that the da$h track was pretty dope lol.

Thinkin of a Lambo, Bathin' Ape Camo

ranks dont make a mixtape better
Aug 29, 2012 @ 07:57
just to list off a few...
Casey Veggies, Dom Kennedy, Flatbush Zombies, Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$, Big Krit, XV, Chip Tha Ripper, Stalley, etc.

edit: that's just mixtapes too.
Aug 29, 2012 @ 08:12
I'm goin to his concert in Columbus (Oct. 6). Pumped as fucked as its three days before I go to Army basic training.

SWIM is gonna be leanin' hard since he can't smoke.

Ill admit its not the best thing to drop this year but its solid

only track thats truly skippable is the DA$H solo effort
off the top of my head the top three mixtapes of the year prior to this are what? rich for ever, macadelic, Taylorallderdice. dream chasers 2 and No Idols

Id choose LORD$ NEVER WORRY over DC2,macadelic,and allderdice forsure

cant front i really enjoyed that domo tape and when Rich Forever dropped that was the hottest shit in awile

LOL at comparing Lords Never Worry to DC2, Macadelic or Allderdice. Wiz and Mac Miller are fucking GARBAGE. Compare this tape to CG3 or Chip's tape and it falls pretty flat. Only one who did his thing on this tape was Ferg. The best track on this tape is Bath Salts and that's because the Zombies went wild on it.

This tape is mediocre. Nothing special.

Ferg is like A$ap Ditto. He always jacking flows but it's all out of respect to the artist that influenced him.

I fucks wit Fergie. Ant another story. And I never seen somebody be as completely lost on a beat as Da$h was on Dope,Money,Hoes. Nigga could not even keep up with the mpc.

We're all in the same game, just different levels. Dealing with the same hell, just different devils

Aug 29, 2012 @ 23:31
overall tape is trashy. imo twelvy was the standout and ferg is soo hit or miss
dont get me wrong, a few songs are nice but the rest will prolly never get played by me again
Aug 30, 2012 @ 05:18
No one else fucks with Black Mane? Nast went crazy on that track. Definitely one of my favorites off the tape.

I can't really listen to 12vy, hes average as fuck.

Your right,EVERY rapper has a completely original flow and isnt influenced by anyone.................
Aug 30, 2012 @ 05:37
people look too much into trying to find any similarity between flows. like if you spit one bar thats like anyone in the history of rap then right there no one can see them as being original.

if you cant see ferg's individual style, you're too damn sensitive to new upcoming artists

lol i swear every single person in this thread has a completely different opinion on the tape and who they like/dislike, theres no consensus

The tape, to me, doesnt compare to LiveLoveA$AP.

It' s an attempt, but I am looking forward to Rocky's full album in Sep.

This tape will easily be forgotten, it's just a nice little hype right now.

Don't badmind me.

Aug 30, 2012 @ 15:28
definitely not life changing but I think I appreciate it because as an ASAP fan I just dig those stylistic touches that you can't really define and I'm just glad to have more tracks from these niggas. Niggas talkin about "inconsistency" and shit like this is a retail album and not a mixtape lol, the whole point is its just mad songs, take it or leave it.

If you could see what the rap scene in NY has been since LLA came out you'd understand, damn near everybody has been aping these dudes' style all year and its just mad funny to see these dudes come back with more material and just show why they're where they at. Whether or not it was amazing it's definitely another solid project of definitively ASAP music so I'm happy

All I do is smoke weed and listen to MF DOOM

Aug 30, 2012 @ 19:18
couldve been more asap nast on this

All my friends are black but my wives are white

if you dont wanna watch, he gave it a 3, and his point was that everything that was said in these songs by asap members have already been said by rocky but better, and he does have a point, these songs prove why rocky is the one that blew up

Sounds about right. I liked the tape but from a technical standpoint he makes sense

It's not so much that, it's just that Ferg literally sounds exactly like he's doing a Krayzie Bone impression sometimes. It's just hilarious to me. These niggas just come off as corny as hell to me. It's one thing if you're an entertainer, but at least be a good actor. It just seems like A$AP in general tries so hard to be charismatic and spontaneous rather than genuinely being like that. I just can't rock with shit like that, that's cool if yall do, but if the music is as mediocre as this shit is, I want to at least be entertained.

This is why I can't get into this new wave of rap. Everyone is doing this "bringing back the 90's shit" and straight jacking and cosplaying as some rapper from the 90's.
Aug 31, 2012 @ 14:58
Tbh the tape really disappointed me. Almost all the standout songs were already released and I just expected much more for some reason. Rocky's album will dope forsure though.

I hope..
Aug 31, 2012 @ 16:12
A$AP Mob tape could of been sooooo much more better if SpaceGhostPurrp was on it....

no fucking way....purp sounds alright on his own beats...its because he made them, sort of like writing a test and knowing all the answers. he can't rap though...hes a much better producer

I got hoez on deck niggah

Yea this nigga understands^... I miss it when people blacked on beats with clever bars etc. It's also just a bad look for other nyc niggas picking up this flow and running with it, cause it's really not popping. The peanut head dude that did the review pretty much said everything that needed to be said about this release.

These dudes probably had beats od that they couldn't handle skill wise.

Don't badmind me.
