I Hate White Gums On Sneakers!

Dec 18, 2012 @ 11:17
I am so sick of the white gum look its just done with. Anytime Nike or Anybody releases a sneaker and it has that black on top and white on bottom with black laces look its just so old now. Personally i was sick of this shit in 2010 because it came and then bigger brand kept adapting and adopting the trend until it became a norm.
Heres the look I am talking about ;

(Sidenote: Even though the Y3s are piff I just wish they had black gums instead)

I honestly wish some one in the sneaker game would fuck around and try different colored gum combinations. I really loved the Pro Ked ones and then Creative Recreations copied them and released something similar

But like the thing I am trying to get at is the whole full black on top of the shoe and bottom gum being white is just tired out now. It sorta of piss  me off like the Y3s had so much poteinal and now they are succumbed to the plain jane boringness and overdone look.

But knowing this HB and how many of you love regular fit levis and are anti jordans dont know what Im talking about but to the ones that do just letting you know your not the only one

how the fuck can you hate on black w/ white so much.  its a standard.  its something people have always wanted and always will want, its not a 'trend' or any type of fad.  you dont have to look to other brands to come up with a black shoe with a white midsole, its just a simple colorway that looks good

I think most importantly is how the person matches the sneakers and his clothes.

White gums look nice if you keep them clean.  Solid black on black doesn't really draw the eye down to the shoes as much as crisp bright white, which i think is why it's so common in higher end shoes.

I actually like the contrast of white gum on predominantly black shoes. I'd love to get my hands on a pair of those Jimmy Choo sneakers but I'd hate to think about the pricetag ha ha.

I do agree, but you mean white sole/midsole not gum

the sole & midsole of these would be gum
