Oversized or undersized shoe?

Sep 28, 2012 @ 23:25
I'm in a dilemma right now, found a pair of dope shoes but they don't have them in my ''real'' size, I usually wear 9,5 or 10 depending on what shoes they're but they only got 9,0 and 10,5 -.- I know its only a 1/2 size up and down but for me its a kinda big difference, 10,5 feels too big both width and length actually and 42,5 feels a lil bit tight in width and length... So I don't know what I should do know and YES I must have them haha.

Should I get the oversized one or undersized? I've heard that you put different things in the oversized but seems uncomfortable? And you can stretch out the undersized... what should I do?

Also I prefer the undersized because the oversized looks too bulky/big ;S

Its a pair of air jordans.

Don't buy shoes unless they fit you. You will look like a goon with too small/big shoes. P.S. jordans are gay imo

The thing is you can make em fit you... its only a ½ up and down I mean not 2 whole sizes up and down.. =) didnt ask for the hate

buy oversize and stuff a tissue. Honestly, you are better off with a bigger size. Your feet will eventually grow. It's useless to buy a shoe that can't fit you.
Sep 29, 2012 @ 16:30
tissue ;/, dunno may I be able to stretch out them jordannnzzz?
Sep 29, 2012 @ 16:35
if you really like them i would suggest get the bigger size and store em in your closet and forget about them until your feet grow, but that would take a long time...

;) buyin for wearin
Sep 29, 2012 @ 17:20
Oversized of course. You can always add an insole or double sock.
Undersized, you'll just be uncomfortable. I highly doubt Jordans will stretch.
However, undersize might be ok, if the insole is removable, and you wear them without the insole.

What jordans are you getting ?
it really depends I had a few that was undersized.1's- 5's 9's&13s you could get undersized but if your getting like some 6's-12's you could get a size up.DO NOT GET 13s a size up they will look like clown shoes.I got them in a 10'5 they look like boats on me.I got some 3's a size 9 and they fit good.I wear 9.5 and 10

Im getting Air Jordan 3s black cement, its the toes (length) the only size left they got in store is 9 and I REALLY NEED that 0,5 up to 9,5 acutally makes a big difference for me...

10,5 looks clowny ;/ and I hate wearing oversized

Afraid that the shoe might blow up near the toes tho haha and it aint good for the toes when its tight...

Dunno if its worth removing the insoles? I mean I pay for them too haha

For me, I have to size down 1/2 on 3s.

Just go oversized and stuff an extra insole or two inside.
Sep 30, 2012 @ 12:10
^ yep think im goin that way

Damn two insoles seems like a bit much. I could see your foot slipping out really easy. Maybe thick socks and a thick insole. Or if that's not enough then you could always do it old school and cut out a fairly thin tongue from an older beat shoe and put a little piece of grip tape on the top of it and wear it under the tongue. I did that with my blazers and it fits hella snug

just get the 9 and remove insoles they will fit perfect.

I say oversize reason being you can either put another sole or double sock it. Now if your foot is slipping all the way out then get the undersize and they will probably stretch. You can also tie them tighter that sometimes work.

i always go undersize if its a width issue, good quality shoes give a little in the sides
but they aint ever going to stretch length ways
and fuck wearing shoes with no insoles

oversized shoes look fucking shit
no matter what you stuff in them it dont change the way they look
especially allready large shoes like j's

edit: I wear a size 9.5 in vans authentic's and am considering the 11's or the foamposites coming out in Dec, what's a good size?

for the most part i'm gonna go with the folks sayin oversize, because the last thing you want to do is to fuck your feet up over some kicks. that being said there are conditions in which buying a smaller size is fine, but that usually is in the case of quality leather shoes like say a pair of common projects, there is no padding so for the most part, and the leather stretches and molds with wear and form with your foot. jordan 3s really don't fall into my example, so size up or don't bother, just save your money.

slightly bigger is better than too small and uncomfortable
Nov 05, 2012 @ 19:22
if the shoe fits, wear it

if it doesn't, don't

Undersize because you can remove the insoles.
Oversize just looks too big.
Mar 17, 2013 @ 14:54
So if i buy these kd5s a whole size smaller and take the insole out I can fit them
Mar 17, 2013 @ 19:42
yes, you can fit them if you take the insole out but walking can be a bit uncomfortable
Mar 18, 2013 @ 12:35
You could also size up 0,5 or 1 and just add another insole.

If I'm a size 10.5 in general. And If I buy Jordan 11s 72-10 size 10. Would it be too small?
Mar 11, 2016 @ 14:02
I wear a size 10.5 foamposite, but I'm almost at the end of the shoe, should I get a size 11 in a Jordan 4 or a size 10.5, because my next shoe is gonna be a pair of green glow 4s and I want to know what size to get?
