Legit check Air Jordan 11's bred PICS

Hey, I found these at Goodwill and I've got some questions about them. They're pretty beat up, lots of creasing on the patent leather but besides that they're good.

I believe someone previously did a poor job trying to restore them. I say this because-

The midsole is painted white. I'm in the process of removing the paint and will bleach them soon.

The toe rubber is dry and cracking. I think somone used the wrong type of glue. I've been rubbing vaseline on them since last night, it's slightly less brittle.

My laces are metal tipped with a jumpman embossed out of it. No other breds I've seen have metal tips, maybe somone replaced them.

The tag has a production date of 06-08-03, but they were supposed to have been released in 2001...

They came without insoles...

The placement of the jumpman looks ok to me.

Now I'll let the pictures speak.

Im no Jordan vet or anything, but those just look a little off to mean. As far as i know, that should be carbon fiber on the bottom of the shoe. It looks like the person who made the fake just used a carbon looking pattern.

Wow. Just wow. I'd say your user name is highly appropriate in this situation.

The fact that the production date on the tag was 3 years off should've been the kick in the stomach you needed not to buy these. But the kick in the face was the "carbon fiber", like a couple people pointed out. Carbon fiber on any Jordan 11 is gonna look like lead, with that same shine/look as pencil lead. It should DEFINITELY not look like plastic. Carbon fiber and plastic aren't even in the same ballpark, so that is always a great indicator of "legit-ness".
