T-Mobile best Android phone right now is the G2 hands-down.

after having bugless beast fuck up on my repeated times in the past week, now running project elite 4.2 with galaxy s theme. i plan on using ultimate droid 3.0 once it fully releases after testing it out last night, thing is FAST but lots of forced closed errors with the release candidate/beta and the camera doesn't work.

project elite is pretty nice itself tho

its between the G2, Mytouch 4G, and the HTC HD7. G2 is what im leaning towards though.

G2>MyTouch 4G

Anyways, I myself own the HTC HD7 & love it. It's smooth, fast, beautiful, & the marketplace is growing rapidly.
Everything I need in one place, integrates smoothly with facebook, gmail, msn, etc.

My friend has a G2 & its a great phone & pretty damn good for Android, but he loved my HD7 lol.

Should be from wherever you got the rom. Then you download a zip file and flash that over the rom.that's how it works on the moto droid anyways

I have a G2, its dope. Love the build quality of the device, has a nice weight to it and brushed aluminum accents. The keyboard is awesome, I upgraded from a MyTouch 3G to it. Was gonna get the Nexus One, but waited too long. Vanilla android FTW!

BTW Another phone to look at will be the Nexus S, the have em at Best Buy mobile stores.

Dealer lines? What?

I buy phones from eBay all the time, unlocked & T-Mobile locked phones. All you gotta do is put your sim card in it.
Feb 04, 2011 @ 21:36
Oh, god damn! $20 for unlimited everything!

Sony's hosting a press event in Tokyo today where it just made the first announcement: a pair of Android 3.0 tablets -- yes, the very two Honeycomb slabs we told you about exclusively back in February. The first is the 9.4-inch S1 media tablet (aka, Qriocity focused) with a curved top much like a folded magazine and both front- and rear-facing cameras. The S1 features a Tegra 2 SoC and customized "Quick and Smooth" touch panel UI with "Swift" web browser. It can also be used as a remote control for Sony gear thanks to integrated infrared.

The second tablet is the dual-screen S2 clamshell with its pair of 5.5-inch 1,024 x 480 pixel displays, Tegra 2 SoC, and camera. While it sounds bulky, Kunimasa Suzuki just pulled the hinged tablet from his jacket pocket on stage. Sony takes advantage of the two screens with a custom book-style UI layout for its e-reader app, email (keyboard on one display with your messages on the other), and others. Both the S1 and S2 are PlayStation Certified, support DLNA, and are WiFi and 3G/4G "compatible" according to Sony. See the Sony tablets codenamed "S1" and "S2" in action after the break on their way to a global release in the fall -- possibly sooner in the US.

P.S. While the company isn't ready to talk prices yet, our sources told us back in February that Sony was considering a $599 MSRP on the S1 while the S2 would likely come in at $699. Still no word on the Windows 7 slider but with the other two leaks official, it's now only a matter of time.

Thanks it looks cool but for me it's something I would never have a real use for, and I hate touch screen controls for gaming.
Apr 26, 2011 @ 19:03

Google I/O 2011
Yeah it's pretty fucking late. But whatevs. tongueface
I must say, Google's definitely stepping up their game for Android.
I'm extra excited for the Arduino support. In my eyes that's like unleashing an App Store in the world.. once you coin an idea and get some exposure that idea's yours. Not sure if there's going to be a site dedicated to this Android-Arduino dev and have it further organized that way but fuck, I've been on the fence on purchasing an Arduino lately and that just pushed me over &)
Another thing that caught my attention was the NFC sharing thing. Engadget had a few pics up where if two phones that had NFC support were streaming music side by side. Amazing. I'm pretty sure they could get it to transfer files considering how the normal NFC works.
And the whole Android@Home thing amazes me... Even though the idea is pretty old and rather useless LOL.

But I couldn't care less about Ice Cream Sandwich.

Anyone here follow it, or at least know what's going on? Can't wait for tomorrow.
