I got a pair of Beeswax Desert Boots 3 months ago and they're surprisingly extremely comfortable. I ordered them 1.5 sizes down ( 9.5-8 ) and they fit just right. I occasionally get blisters when walking long distances in them so I recommend getting about 1.5 sizes down if you want a good, comfortable fit.

Beeswax good for Spring/Summer?

Beeswax could work in any season, I personally think they're the best desert boot since they could go with anything.

how do they hold up to rain ?
Jun 07, 2012 @ 06:21
Crepe soles = no go in the rain
Rubber soles on DB Bushacre 2's = alright in the rain

If I wear 9US in Vans 8,5US in Clarks won't fit good?
Jun 08, 2012 @ 04:38

Sigh, was at Nordstrom Rack searching for Vans and wasn't paying attention when I saw a few Clarks on sale. Turns out I got the Bushacre in beeswax instead of the actual Desert Boots. Guess like I'll have to go look for them online, Zappos, or the local Clarks store instead.
Jun 10, 2012 @ 22:05
^ I think Bushacre > DBs.

Bushacre rubber soles > DB crepe soles

Where to cop those indigo denim dbs? It seems like they only have it on the uk online store

Not really. Suede is more breathable.

Oh btw, I'll dye a pair of desert boots if they don't sell a color that you want. I can even multicolor them joints.

I'm in the process of purchasing a pair of DB's with my Christmas money. I've been researching and I'm confused whether to get a half size down or and full size. I wear a 9.5 in vans auth but I can fit 10 comfortably. I like wearing smaller shoes but I don't want to crush my toes. What size should I get?

Jan 08, 2013 @ 23:30

I'm not too sure about that.

The Jinks got a different stitching on the top part and they have a clark's tag on the side..
