Kurt Sutter talks a little bit about what is upcoming and his train of thought.

Pretty good Q&A. For anyone worried about reading it, there's no real spoilers unless you haven't seen last night's episode.

Surprised to see a 90 minute episode next week. Usually they save those for the season finale, but I guess they have a lot planned for next week. Should be good.

hmmm so clay didnt call the whole thing off. i feel like he could have easily talked them out of it knowing she isnt really a threat anymore. to me this means he also has other motives to her dying, whcih is jax staying in the club.

i also feel like the show cant go on without clay and jax. so somehow they will stay on the show.

im banking on everyone wants to kill clay but he is saved by the police. /boom end of season

Clay tried to get the hit called off but Romeo said no. Clay really isn't in a position to tell a cartel boss what to do especially when he needs their deal very bad. Also, I don't think he gives a shit about Jax being in the club right now. Jax leaving would actually be better for him because shits getting heavy for him and if/when Jax finds out about the hit on Tara, Clay killing his dad, and beating his mom he's dead.

I think those guys were going to kill her regardless of whether or not Clay ordered it, because they obviously want her dead. Remember when Clay called them to call it off and Danny Trejo told him it was too late, that they won't hear from the guy until after it's done, then when he gets off the phone with Clay he tells the other guy to call the hitman and let him know Jax and the kids will be with him. They obviously want to get rid of Tara, but now she's in the hospital with a couple prospects guarding her, so who knows what will happen.

yeah but they want to get rid of her because they think shes a threat because thats all he said. i feel like he could have easily persuaded them not to do it. either way this season will end with clay either dead or in jail. jax will be put on the spot to choose whether or not he leaves or leads the club and he will most likely stay. the cartel shit will be over.. and tara will be have no choice but to stay in charming

I just want Tara to be gone, I find her really annoying and I hope that what happened to her finally makes her leave or that she ends up getting killed off.

Also, I don't think Clay getting killed will get them out of business with the cartel. That would be way too easy and cartels don't really work that way. I think if they want out of their deal with the cartel if and when something happens to Clay, they are going to have to go to war over it.

Tara keeps everything in perspective. It shows the other side of Jax outside the club. The struggle between family and the club is what keeps the show interesting.

We're all in the same game, just different levels. Dealing with the same hell, just different devils

maybe clay will go down and get arrested by the feds during this sit down.

tara wont get the job because of her hand, they will be forced to stay in charming.

next season is about them trying to figure out a new club leader?

I hope they don't do the whole fed thing all over again with Clay in prison or something, that would be kind of lame.

I'm hoping that Tara will get killed off still, but I don't think it will happen. I do hope what happened to her makes her leave for a while because I think that will push Jax into the President chair if something does happen to Clay.

I just can't see being as interested in the Sons if Bobby Elvis or Opie is running the show.

I feel like the cartel will kill Clay for some reason. Jax getting to kill him seems too perfect. I don't think there's any reason for Tara to die so she won't. She may go away for a while though. I wonder what's up with Jax's ex bitch showing up. I don't even want to speculate anymore. I just want to watch. I'll see you guys tuesday night!

Considering the whole series is based off of Macbeth...

I think it is obvious who is going to kill Clay.

As far as I know, the series isn't based on Macbeth, but when season one premiered people compared the story to Macbeth. I don't think that the creators of the show have ever stated that it's their modern day take on Macbeth, and all I found when I googled it is a couple articles comparing the first season to Macbeth.

it's based on hamlet, not macbeth

like lion king
Nov 15, 2011 @ 02:16
thats what i meant

jax is gonna kill clay
Nov 15, 2011 @ 02:20
"The Sons of Anarchy draws not only many character parallels to Hamlet, but much of its storyline also. It is, in fact, explicitly the story of Hamlet, written as if Denmark were a northern California small town and all its characters members of the motorcycle club."

They're already pretty much setting it up for Jax to kill Clay, or at least attempt to, so I guess that quote still holds true.

I don't personally see it happening, especially since they're hoping to do 3 more seasons before wrapping it up, but who knows. When it comes to stuff like that, I tend to go against what most people think is going to happen, because I always assume that the writers goal is to go against what we all think is going to happen anyway. At this point it seems like there's no way Clay won't be killed off, which is exactly why I don't think he will be.

He's definitely out of the club though. No way they're going to forgive him for all the stuff he's done. Maybe Clay will join another gang (if that's possible) and be a constant nuisance to the Sons.

This could be a shot in the dark, but remember a few episodes ago when they showed the headless club members in the back of that truck and they seemed to emphasize that one of the bodies had a President badge on it but then it never came up again? What if Clay takes over that chapter? Probably a long shot, but I thought it was odd that they really seemed to focus on the badge on that body and then it never came up again.

I thought the dead pres was from the episode where they first picked up the coke and dealt with that chapter selling drugs.

Pretty good episode but next week's looks way better.

I think Bobby Elvis will go tell the truth about Louanne and since Otto won't sign any transcripts he won't end up ratting on him.

Hopefully Clay kills Tara, but I'm sure Gemma will bust into her hospital room or something and stop it.

I'm not sure about Opie, I don't think he'd listen to Unser if he tried to stop him at this point.

Poor Lenny Johnson (Kozik), the creators killed him off in The Shield and this show. Poor guy got blown up in both shows too.

OR Bobby goes to tell him about Louane and he's too late and Otto tells him he ratted him out.
I was hoping some Shield fan would catch that about Kozik haha. Suffered a similar fate in both shows. SAD!
Nov 17, 2011 @ 15:37
was way more sad in the shield, the way it happened here was almost comedic. i want sons to have a death like that, cos when he died on the shield it changed the show, but there haven't really been any deaths like that on this show except maybe donna, and opie doesn't get enough screentime that it really makes a difference.

this episode felt like spinning wheels a bit. i wonder what'll happen in the last 3 episodes that'll make the extra one worth it.

Yeah you don't really get to know anyone the way you got to know Lem in The Shield and realize how fucked that whole situation was.
