According to IMDB, the Beasties themselves will be played by two different sets of celebrities. In the photo above, we see Seth Rogen as Mike D, Elijah Wood as the King Ad-Rock, and Danny McBride as MCA. There's also another set of Beasties in the film: John C. Reilly as Mike D, Will Ferrell as the King Ad-Rock, and Jack Black as MCA. We also get Susan Sarandon as "mother", Stanley Tucci as "father", David Cross in the role of Yauch's occasional filmmaking alter-ego Nathaniel Hornblower, Orlando Bloom as the Paul's Boutique homeless-dude character Johnny Ryall, and Clint Caluory as "Zach Galifianakis as George Drakoulias," which doesn't make any sense.

Other characters in the film include Jason Schwartzman as Vincent Van Gogh, and Kirsten Dunst, Chlo

Sacha Baron Cohen to Play Saddam Hussein in 'The Dictator'

Sacha Baren Cohen, the funny man and character actor behind 'Borat' and 'Bruno,' is gearing up to play his most political role to date. The actor will be playing the role of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein.

Cohen is set to star in a comedy inspired by a book thought to be written by Hussein titled 'Zabibah and the King,' BBC reports. The book was a best-seller in Iraq back in 2000.

Paramount Pictures joked that the film would "tell the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed." Writers Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel, who all work for 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' have been signed on to write the script.

The film, titled 'The Dictator,' is scheduled to be released in theaters May 11, 2012. It will be directed by Larry Charles, who has worked with Cohen on both 'Bruno' and 'Borat.

Matrix 4 and 5 in the Works

Well this one came out of left-field. While attending a U.K. event to promote latest film Henry's Crime, Keanu Reeves revealed that the Wachowskis are planning two more Matrix movies.

According to AICN, Reeves met with the Wachowskis over Christmas, at which time they announced that they had "completed work on a two-picture script treatment that would see him return to the world of The Matrix as Neo."

The pair have already met with James Cameron to discuss the potential use of 3D, with Keanu claiming that they will be looking to shoot a movie that will revolutionise the action genre in the same way the original did.

The team will apparently talk again once the Wachowskis have finished work on their long-gestating adaptation of Cloud Atlas, but this is certainly exciting news for fans of the franchise.

Head here for the full story, plus news of Bill and Ted 3 and Reeves' next film, 47 Ronin.

If they realize that the first one was great because of the story& cinematography and not because of the fight scenes, this *could* be a good thing. One of my favorite scenes of all-time is Neo becoming The One.

I wish I could go back and see this again for the first time.

Flash Thompson the New Superman?

Rumor: True Blood star may don the red cape.

Could it turn out that Spider-Man's eternal frenemy Flash Thompson is also the strange visitor from another planet known as Superman? That's the rumor today.

Moviehole points out a recent tweet by The L.A. Times' Hero Complex which reads as follows:

"Is 'True Blood' werewolf star Joe Manganiello a frontrunner to play Superman? That's the rumor du jour in Hollywood."

There's no source cited or info beyond that, but Hero Complex is a reputable blog that often breaks superhero-movie news

Javier Bardem Offered Bond 23 Role

Javier Bardem has been offered a role in the upcoming (still untitled) 23rd James Bond film, according to a story at Deadline.

Though the role is unspecified, the article suggests that it is major part and speculation could easily place Bardem as the film's villain. If that is the case, Bardem would mark the second Oscar winner to face off against the secret agent after Christopher Walken in 1985's A View to a Kill.

Currently, Daniel Craig and Judi Dench are confirmed to return for the franchise sequel under Director Sam Mendes. No plot details are currently available, but the script (from Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan) is said to pick up soon after the events of Quantum of Solace.

Whether or not Bardem accepts the offer remains to be seen. He's also rumored to have been offered the lead in Ron Howard's cross-platform adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower. He is currently nominated for an Academy Award for his work in last year's Biutiful.

Will Guy Ritchie Replace Zack Snyder On '300' Prequel 'Xerxes'?
With Zack Snyder pinned down by his obligations to a reboot of the "Superman" movie franchise, fans are rightly starting to lose hope in ever seeing the director's planned adaptation of Frank Miller's "300" follow-up, "Xerxes." You still might get to see "Xerxes" in film however, as another geek-friendly auteur may be easing into the director's chair.

Warner Bros. has reportedly offered the gig to "Sherlock Holmes" director Guy Ritchie, according to Vulture. There's no official indication of why the studio is making the switch, though one theory suggests that Warner Bros. wants to keep Snyder's entire focus on the Man of Steel.

Anonymous "insiders" tell Vulture that the in-development reboot suffers from some major third-act woes. Add to that the fact that the studio loses the rights to Superman if a production isn't in front of cameras by 2013, and the scenario certainly seems feasible.
