it already begun. thats how the bane pic came to be. haven't checked it out myself, but i read it was something like....

there was a link to a blank page with some weird chanting. someone then opened the chanting wave file in a sound editor and found a twitter hashtag embedded in it. then everytime someone tweeted that hashtag, a portion of the bane picture would be revealed on that website. eventually enough ppl tweeted to uncover the whole picture.

man these viral campaigns are crazy
May 21, 2011 @ 14:36

i find it funny that all these fake TDKR posters follow the same style as the TDK ones. i hpoe the real ones change it up with something new.
Jun 05, 2011 @ 10:39
^ They're confirmed fake.
Jun 05, 2011 @ 10:53
^ Good attempt, though.

I have a good feeling Bane is gonna release Arkham convicts and ruin Gotham. Batman will get tired, Bane will break his back, just like in Knightfall.
Jun 06, 2011 @ 00:53
last film; improbable bats will have his vertebrae crushed.
Jun 06, 2011 @ 01:47

How Badly Will Bane Hurt Batman?

The latest buzz for The Dark Knight Rises.

Bat-fans have been wondering just how far Tom Hardy's Bane will go in The Dark Knight Rises. (As you know, Bane is infamous in the DC comics for breaking Batman's back.) A new report claims to know just how brutal director Christopher Nolan intends on making things for Bruce Wayne in his final Batman film.

Mind you, IF the following claim is true then consider this a massive SPOILER WARNING.

The not always reliable (sorry, guys) Comic Book Movie posted the following that even they said readers should take with a grain of salt:
"Bruce Wayne/Batman & Bane will certainly clash hard in The Dark Knight Rises and I can tell you this much, during their first fight against one-another will Bane WILL break Batman's back!"

In far less dramatic Bat-news, Morgan Freeman tells The Hollywood Reporter that he starts filming his role as Lucius Fox in about three weeks in the U.K. before moving on to Pittsburgh and Los Angeles. Likewise, Batman-on-Film points out a BBC Radio chat where Michael Caine said he starts work as Alfred next week.

^ Imo, they should have Bane break Batman's back. It only makes sense if he has to come back from an injury to beat Bane by pure will.

You have to remember that Bane is on Batman's level; he's as smart/cunning as Batman, and the only way he can defeat Batman is physically.

It'll make sense if Batman beats Bane at the end, hence the title TDK Rises.

lol. i'm always amused at how people try so hard to make a rumor sound true, yet their execution is always novice and riddled with poor grammar and/or typo's

A villain from Batman's past may return.

Seriously. Don't do it. Eat Bugles or something.

You really wanna know this?! Okay then...

HitFix reports that Liam Neeson recently reprised his role as Ra's Al Ghul for Christopher Nolan in the director's last Batman film.

According to HitFix sources, Neeson was on set Monday and completed shooting just in time to make it to the New York premiere of the revamped musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.

HitFix "contacted Warner Bros. to ask them to comment on this story, and they politely refused, saying that's simply not policy when it comes to the Batman films that Nolan and company make."

We've heard from Jim Gordon himself, Gary Oldman, that Rises will bring Nolan's Batman story full circle. So if Neeson's involvement is accurate, expect more than just thematic callbacks to Batman Begins. No word yet on whether or not Neeson's role is set in the past or in the current timeline. (If it is set in the current timeline, then it gives credence to the rumors of a Lazarus Pit being involved.)

Josh Pence will play young Ra's in what is assumed to be flashback sequences for Rises. Looks like those assumptions may have to be revised, if Neeson's involvement pans out.
