actually i`ve been noticing some weird fades around the crotch...is that due to blow out or is that normal

Well for nudies its normal because thats their weak spot, so its naturally going to fade faster. At least until a fat hole appears.
Aug 29, 2007 @ 11:03
i don't know if anyone noticed
they have black raw new standards(FULL STOCK) on apc.fr

http://www.apc.fr/us/en/fiche_article.php?ref=1C009112197M&color=NR008

are the black ones also selvage?
Aug 29, 2007 @ 11:16
^ i thought raw was selvage

this is the kinda stuff people should learn in school
Aug 29, 2007 @ 11:27
raw is unwashed. selvage is the self finished edge on a roll of shuttle loomed denim.

yes, some people need to go to school.
Aug 29, 2007 @ 15:04
ay cheep or someone,

My APCs got a stain on the knee I noticed today. Ive been wearing them for 6 months without a wash. Getting a little lose as is. Is there a proper way of washing/soaking them? Also treat the same as you would on a tee or what?
Any help is cool.
Aug 29, 2007 @ 15:05
throw them in the washing machine inside out, wash hot, hang dry.

No raw doesn't mean selvedge, raw just means its unwashed. However, a pair of jeans can be raw and selvedge.

No, just raw.

edit: oh actually i think they are selvedge. that's what the APC site says. "red selvedge"
Aug 31, 2007 @ 18:09
anybody know if denimbar is gonna stock ns's and nc's in raw black anytime soon?
Aug 31, 2007 @ 23:03

it says selvage on the main description for new standards and the detail description of the indigos but not on the detail description of the blacks. it's just a sizing issue since the selvage seems to stretch more i need to know before pulling the trigger.

got me some NS today, i really like the fit, a little baggier than my jims, I'm considering not going with the whole 6 months before a wash thing, just to see what happens.

There are some cool NS on Sufu that supposedly are washed regularly.

i'll let you know..i should receive them either tuesday or wednesday
Sep 01, 2007 @ 09:54
ok so the blacks aren't selvedge as i read in a post on SUFU...but they said the denim feels like the indigo and he thinks they will stretch the same
Sep 01, 2007 @ 14:42
thanks.

Look up the definition of raw. Pretty self explanatory.

yes, i believe that was me. to clear any confusion, black ns is not selvedge, and the sizing is the same as the indigo ns.
Sep 05, 2007 @ 16:40
received mine here's some comparison pictures
mind you my indigo have been soaked once

Sep 08, 2007 @ 15:58
I got some new standards... and I want them a little looser than they are right now..

I'm just wearing them a lot to stretch them out, but is there a quicker way?
Sep 08, 2007 @ 18:03
Nah, just wear em.
Sep 08, 2007 @ 19:33
Yeah, they're loosening up a lot and starting to look great. They went from skin tight to loosening up quite a bit.

I sized down 2 sizes from my true waist size.
Sep 10, 2007 @ 16:07
I'm planning on copping some NC's but I don't know what my true waist size is. I don't own measuring tape. I wear a 30x36 in 501's. They have stretched about a bit since I bought them. If I want to size down 2 when I buy APC's should I get a 28 or should I go smaller?
Sep 10, 2007 @ 16:15
so 1 or 2 from a size 30 waist? or do i need to go smaller since my 501's stretched and they are probably not my true waist size?
Sep 10, 2007 @ 16:50
If you wear your jeans really tight, go down 3. If you wear them somewhat looser, go down 2.
Sep 10, 2007 @ 18:46
I have a pair of nudie even stevens size 31 and they fit really lose I wanna get a tighter fit but they were sold to me cheap so whatever. I was wondering what APC jeans have a fit similiar to nudie even stevens? Thanks
Sep 10, 2007 @ 19:31
