anyone ever give back there jeans to apc in ny to get half off on a new pair?

Do they still do that?
Nov 21, 2012 @ 04:32
Yeah, they sti.ll do it. Its up to them if theyll take them tho. All I know is your jeans can't be washed too many times.

It sucks for me because I can't mail in a pair and there no store near me

Just sell them yourself on ebay. I just sold a pair of really worn APC's for $240. A lot better than half of $175...

There can be pocket fades.and yes washes does matter, that's what they said when I asked about the terms. If washed too many times they said it turns to this generic blue color.

Like I said its up to the store if they want to take them, so its not guaranteed you'll get half off

I also doubt they have to be clean when you take them in since tjey wash the jeans before they sell them

Hi, im new to this forum

i wonder if this happens to anyone of you. Is it common or it shouldnt happen at all. i hate how my jeans has this white line runs along the side of jeans. My calves are little too big. Are there solutions to this, btw my model is petite standard
Nov 22, 2012 @ 17:55
Your pants are simply too tight

Nov 23, 2012 @ 01:20
if the calf area isnt uncomfortably tight, your fine. The calves don't really stretch out but they soften up
Nov 23, 2012 @ 10:35
Jeans too tight, hope you can exchange them
Nov 26, 2012 @ 14:20
crotch blow out after just shy a year of wearing :/

does the average tailor repair denim or am i better sending to a denim doctor?
Nov 26, 2012 @ 20:27
You're better off sending to a denim doctor. Elephants $100 Shipped topic_page=1#post-329240

I might be looking to get rid of a pair of size 30 NS. No fades, slight combing behind the knees, and the waist has stretched to about a 32 I'm guessing. If anyone's interested I'll get pictures/measurements ASAP.
Nov 27, 2012 @ 11:38
my homie spilled a bunch of wax on my calf area and it looks like a giant jizz stain.......i scrapped a bunch off with a razor and was wondering what would be the best thing besides a soak or wash to remove this tragedy. also if i just leave it be will the wax fudge anything up with the chemicals in it or whatever?

السلام عليكم

Nov 27, 2012 @ 13:32
flip em inside out, put a damp cloth on the inside (technically outside) of the leg, and iron (with steam). The heat will loosen the wax and absorb into the damp cloth..
Nov 28, 2012 @ 23:45
Pictures of the APCs I mentioned before if anyone's interested. I'd also trade them for a 29 NS or a 31 PS if anyone's got a pair in similar condition.

Nov 29, 2012 @ 00:27
@sharkin good lookin homie! did it as soon as possible and it worked pretty good, i maybe went OD with the steam resulting in some indigo loss, but nothing too crazy. im the only person that will notice anyways, lol.

@mike-who trade for N&F WG greencast sz 30? i already NS in sz 30 and they are a tighter fit since it seems like thats what your looking for

السلام عليكم

@only-cure wow. big ups. best combs i've seen on a pair of APC's.
Nov 29, 2012 @ 05:18
@geebus I had a very similar experience. Believe it or not, I used leather upholstery remover and it was quite potent.

@satten probably not going to be a substantial difference between cuts, but more often than not, the more skinnier = the more stretching.
Nov 29, 2012 @ 15:44
@only-cure how long?

Pauly, sizing depends on how slim you want your jeans. If you're a true 29 I'd start off with a 27 or even a 26 NS. It would probably be best to at least size down 2.

Judgmint, Again, start off with sizing down 2 on the PS.

You guys can always exchange/return them so don't be to worried about sizing. Just keep exchanging them untill you're happing

I couldn't agree more with your post.
Sizing down 2 from true waist is a fitted look for PS. Fitted meaning no sag with some room to breathe in the thighs/crotch area (maybe .5~1 inch) unless you leave it hanging on your ass for 3 months however this sizing is for people with normal proportions.Sizing down 1 is more of a loose fit with slight sag if you choose not to wear a belt. BTW I have both -1 and -2 PS.

If you are of normal proportions and you plan on buying a pair without trying them on follow the OP's suggestions.
