APC site says NS are 125 Euros. Thats like $180 USD right? Someone please tell me my conversion rate is off, becuase that seems rediculous for APC's.
Feb 10, 2008 @ 20:47

36 but they will stretch to basically a 38 in any other brand anyway.
Feb 10, 2008 @ 22:22
^^^^^^^

o cause i site that i believe was mentioned on here had a size 38 new standards , so i was thinkin do they make rescues in a size 38 .
Feb 10, 2008 @ 22:32
Oh, yea I think tobi.com has the NS listed in 38 in the dropdown but you cant order them online anyway (have to call).

apc website maxxes out at 36 as well as a local spot (he orders a lot of apc and says 36 is it).

You might call tobi though and see wtf. I have a feeling its just a mistake.

How do you guys size down 2 or 3? That shit won't fit... Like you won't be able to button it up at the top....I'm thinking of buying a pair but my local spot hasn't gotten any in, so I can't try them on.

Can anyone tell me how they manage to size down 2? Heh. I know they stretch, but you can't go outside with pants that don't button up on...

well New Stardards are vanity sized and the waist measures bigger than tagged size. sizing down 2 is more like buying your true waist size and down one more makes it tight but only for a short while. i ofter leave the house without the top button done up on my samurais. it's not a big deal.

my apcs couldn't be buttoned up fully at first but after a couple of wears it stretches and is now at the point where all buttons can be buttoned. you shouldn't worry about not being able to button them up.
Feb 13, 2008 @ 12:00
what APC's are like the tight cheap mondays?...is it the cure fit? and do you really have to size down two cause or just buy your true waist size?

if you buy your true waist, it's pretty darn likely with APCs that it wont be your true waist after a week or so. so i would size down 1-2
Feb 14, 2008 @ 23:50
i sized down 2.
they fit perfect.
if i want to prevent stretching as much as possible i should wear a belt?
Feb 15, 2008 @ 00:11
just bought some new standards...

sized down 2 and they fit perfectly.

if i want to minimize stretching much as possible, i should wear a belt right?
Feb 15, 2008 @ 17:31
I just ordered some NS from their site. From experience, how long does it take to process your order? It says they don't do charge money online, rather when it is ready to package and ship.

I ended up getting the black since they seem harder to find for the size I wanted.

nice.
yea, a belt reduces unnecessary stress on the waist.
Feb 16, 2008 @ 12:33
im planning on buying a pair of apc's new standard, but they have been dry cleaned once after two weeks, would this affect the fading process
Feb 17, 2008 @ 01:30
I dont think it would effect the fading properties but it might of made the denim more softer, so you might get subtle creases

I'm 6'3 and 180 lb and I'm a true 33. The 31 in NS was way too tight. I'm going to settle for a 32.
