I'm about to hopefully take my motorcycle classes next weekend. So I'm thinking about starting slow & getting a Kawasaki Ninja 250R.

that's the best way to start. learn how to ride a bike first then upgrade from that. alot of people start big and end up going down and up seriously hurt.

If you're under 21, I believe you have to take the written and a motorcycle training course/class.
A small engine bike would be better/safer I guess. So a Kawasaki Ninja 250r?

i recommend 600s for a starter bike. you'll grow outta that 250 quick.

Thanks-
I´m 6´2, 190lbs. Some race bikes looks like pocket bikes on me..I´m not a "giant", but I have some issues finding a proper bike. Been looking at these:
Ducati 749 Dark-04
Triumph Speed Triple 955i-01
Suzuki SV1000S-05

The Ducati is looking very sexy- But I´ve heard I´ll sit better on the SV1000S
The Suzuki´s probably my favorite. Anyone got any inputs?

Honda VFR800. Sport/Touring bikes are killers
Dec 19, 2010 @ 16:11
the more I see street fighters the more I want to get a bike and just start customizing.

bikes I have in mind for the base are either a Ducati, or a CBR 100rr

Making ducati a streetfighter is a no no. just get the streetfighter model from them.
