Eastpak and
Raf Simons have collaborated once again, maintaining its steady output of specially designed bags with a series of padded bags detailed with loops. The capsule marks the ninth collaboration between the two, following up its Spring/Summer 2019 collection which fused punk-inspired imagery.
The latest assemblage comes in the form of Padded Pak’r models that hold enough carrying space for 15-inch laptops and a variety of other necessities. Decked in palettes of black, yellow, pink and grey, the bags are decorated with metal loops that hang at the front, sides and top. The shoulder straps are connected to the bag by two rings, with the same hardware details repeating through to the bottom end of the adjustment belts. Apart from the laptop compartment at the inners, the main opening flap comes with a hidden pocket that stretches from the one side of the backpack to the other. Details like quilted fabrication and co-branding at the rear round up the concise collection.
The latest Raf Simons x Eastpak capsule is currently available on
eastpak.com, ranging from $247 – $275 USD.
