Nike has just shared an official look at the Air Jordan 12 “University Gold,” a follow-up to Jordan Brand‘s understated “Dark Gray” colorway from back in December.
Embodying a rich plethora of delicate leather, cotton and rubber, this iteration of the Air Jordan 12 sees smooth textures accented by its high-contrast color scheme. A bright yellow Jumpman logo is embroidered at the top of the tongue, followed by “TWO3” branding as a nod to MJ’s nostalgic player number. The shoe comes with sleek round laces, finely padded collars, a bold backstay with a sturdy heel pull and eyelet hooks at the upper quarters. Furthermore, tonal top-stitching is placed throughout the sidewalls, webbing out from the shoe’s yellow base. Beyond the mudguards, glowing “University Gold” color-blocking appears throughout the midsole, outsole and heel to finish off the shoe’s crisp makeup.
