After the
Air Jordan 3 “Denim” was first revealed as part of
Jordan Brand‘s
extensive fall collection, the Jumpman has now provided an official look at a Japan-exclusive CO.JP iteration. Although these Japan-only kicks may be identical to their global brethren from toebox to collar, the heel switches things up to provide limited regional style.
Grey elephant-printed denim bequeaths the shoe with its moniker, and appears on toeboxes, heels and eyestays alike. Apart from this rugged material, the rest of the upper is classic Jumpman thanks to a white tumbled leather base, pops of red on the foremost eyestays, tongue graphic and collar, and small dashes of black.
Signature detailing, however, is present on the aforementioned heel piece. Here, a translucent plastic tab with a standard Jumpman logo covers a
Nike Air heel hit that swaps out the “Nike” above its Swoosh for three Japanese katakana. CO.JP printed insoles and two-tone white/black midsoles with a clear Air Max unit round off the look.
The Air Jordan 3 CO.JP “Denim” is set to release via
Nike SNKRS Japan come August 7. Full family sizes will be available, and the MSRP for men’s pairs is set at $190 USD.
