SHINJUKU RESOLUTION

Tokyo-based graphic artist and art director YOSHIROTTEN reinterprets the work of legendary Japanese photography pioneer Daido Moriyama, taking Moriyama’s Shinjuku collection and giving the work explosive impact. This series, renamed “Shinjuku Resolution,” with each work in editions of 20, showcases acts by each artist to seek and confirm reality within themselves, through Moriyama's “carving out" of moments through photography and YOSHIROTTEN's extensive process of “sitting with an image to birth a new image”.
