Summary

  • The Barbour X Noah Fall 2025 outerwear drop blends the vintage outdoor styles of the U.S. Northeast Coast and Northern England from the ’50s and ’60s.
  • The collection features reinterpreted British silhouettes using diverse textiles like Scottish tweed, European wool, and American canvas.

New York-based Noah and English outerwear label Barbour are back with a Fall 2025 drop that synthesizes their heritage-inspired sensibilities into a concise outerwear range.

These vintage jacket styles are inspired by the early outdoor cultures of the United States’ Northeastern Coast and Northern England, focusing particularly on the era between the ’50s and ’60s. Tied together by the necessities of their local environments, these distant regions arrived at similar wardrobe solutions.

“This collection started as a conversation between two places that have always dressed for the same realities: weather, work, and time. By bringing together Scottish tweed, European wool, and American canvas, we wanted the clothes to feel like they could belong anywhere along the North Atlantic, in any decade, as long as they were built to be worn hard and lived in,” the Noah Design Team said in a statement.

Plaids, checks, and tweeds rendered in nature-inspired palettes are a common thread between both the U.S.’s New England outdoor culture and Northeast England’s outerwear traditions. In the spirit of this shared heritage, Noah reinterprets the quintessentially British silhouette with diverse materials. A bold Red Wading jacket in pressed wool leads the collection with its high-saturation color treatment, while the Cotton Canvas Bedale jacket incorporates the core textile of American workwear in a soft-hued, worn-in canvas. Finally, the Lovat Tweed Wading jacket centers on an enduring British textile, characterized by a thornproof Cheviot weave built to withstand the changing seasons.

The full Barbour X Noah collaboration arrives in-store and online on December 11, 2025.
