Following respective impressive seasons, Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan are now reportedly interested in joining the Los Angeles Lakers.

Reports are now noting that the two players set to become unrestricted free agents have their sights set on the Lakers this offseason.

Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan famously played for the Toronto Raptors for six seasons, becoming a dynamic duo with five playoff appearances and earning four division titles. The two were split up in 2018’s blockbuster Kawhi Leonard trade with the San Antonio Spurs. Last season, DeRozan earned $27.7 million USD with the Spurs and Lowry made $31 million USD with the Raptors.

The addition of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan could be big for LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers who saw an underwhelming first-round playoff elimination following their 2020 NBA Championship.
