Seemingly in a bid to keep up with competitors like Instagram, Twitter is now testing out e-commerce features on its site. The social media giant confirmed to TechCrunch on March 4 that it is trialing new ways to display tweets that link out to external shopping pages.

Matt Navarra, a social media consultant, tweeted screenshots of what the new feature looks like.

The new shopping feature appears to shows the product name, the shop name, the price of the product and a large “Shop” icon. Qatar-based tech journalist Yasser Masood said in a tweet that the features currently only show up on Android devices.

According to TechCrunch, Twitter Revenue Lead Bruce Falck said at a company event in late February that it was “starting to explore ways to better support commerce on Twitter.”

Twitter has also introduced a new paid subscription called Super Follow, which would allow users to create exclusive paid-for content.
