SneakerLah x Hundred% x ASICS GEL-Lyte III Collaboration is Inspired by Kuala-Lumpur's Twin Towers
An homage to one of the tallest skycsrapers in the world.
2020 marks the 30th anniversary of the beloved ASICS GEL-Lyte III, and all year long the lifestyle-ready silhouette has been reimagined by an assortment of partners such as CDG, KITH, Sean Wotherspoon and atmos. With a little over a month left in the year, the model is readying yet another collaboration for its fans — this time a three-way project with the likes of Malaysia’s SneakerLAH and Hundred%.

The shoe’s bold design characteristics are influenced by Kuala Lumpur’s Petronas Twin Towers, widely notorious for being one of the tallest skyscrapers on the planet. Upper halves are executed with metallic silver skins — which in this case points to the exterior aesthetic of the Malaysia-based structure — and come packaged with subtle hints of green that poke out through the lower heel and outsoles to translate the building’s tinted windows. Iridescent paneling shows face and overlaps across the mid-foot and tips of the toe in an effort to symbolize the reflection of the tower’s windows during various hours of the day. Moreover, you’ll find the heels adorned with “LAH” lettering, which is Malaysian parlance used to complement sentences in normal everyday conversation.
SneakerLAH will be raffling off this colorway on December 3rd and 4th, and a global launch will take place on December 19th.
