Home to designs from over 80 renowned French and international decorators and artisans, luxury online platform The Invisible Collection is selling new works by Stockholm-based designer Louise Liljencrantz. Using a radical yet sensual aesthetic, Liljencrantz combines the heritage and modernity of mid-century Scandinavian furniture with the skill of Swedish Cabinet Makers. Her bespoke work, ranging from large dining room tables to quaint side tables, brings a mix of tactile surfaces to interior spaces.

For her latest collection, Liljencrantz created a new series of pieces in solid mahogany that were burned and oiled according to ancestral techniques, producing polished, smooth surfaces that contrast with textured markings in the wood. Some furniture piece are informed by fluid, curving forms, while others are comprised of geometric shapes that seem to balance upon each other. The clean, artful pieces highlight Liljencrantz’s eye for creating understated luxe objects and interiors.

Take a closer look at the new collection in the slideshow above. If you’re interested in purchasing any of the furniture items, head to The Invisible Collection’s website.
