BEAMS Japan Announces New Kyoto Store With Exclusive Items
A limited Mizuno Wave Rider, field watch, Mazinger Z toy and more.
Following its Shibuya and Shinjuku locations, BEAMS Japan reveals it will be opening a new Kyoto store in April. As the first location in the Kansai region, the outlet will feature a range of goods highlighting the area and historical city. To mark the occasion, the specialty retailer shares a first look at some of the exclusive releases that will be available on opening day.
Teaming up with sportswear brand Mizuno, BEAMS Japan puts its own spin on the Wave Rider 10 which sees a military-led taupe colorway with bright orange accents along the tongue and heel. Next, the lineup includes BEAMS’ original field watch with redesigned numbers and a gold face inspired by Kyoto. Also included in the collection is a Mazinger Z figurine in collaboration with Medicom Toy, featuring Kyoto-led gold hues and a special header; limited BEAMS logo print t-shirt showcasing the famous Kyoto Tower; plus other tees with Ninja Goods and Japanese illustrator Inuko.
