'GWENT: The Witcher Card Game' Arrives on Android
Perfect for those waiting for the show’s second season.
Whether you’re a fan of Netflix’s massively popular The Witcher series or CD Projekt Red‘s video game adaptation of the original books, it’ll still be some time until the second season or next installment arrives, but fret not: the game developer has now made available on Android its fan-favorite card game from the The Witcher universe: GWENT.
A mobile version of the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 game was announced almost a year ago and made its debut on iOS devices last October, finally reaching Android users now. To run the game, your device will need to be running on Android 7.0 or later versions and have at least 1.5GB of RAM. Those that have previously played the game on other platforms with GOG accounts can also link it to your smartphone, giving you access to your previous progress and in-game purchases. To connect a larger pool of players, the Android version also supports cross-play with the PC and iOS versions.
In celebration of its release, CD Projekt Red will also be giving out a free Ultimate Premium Keg for those who log in to the Android version before March 31. If you’ve pre-registered, the developer will also gift you the Imperial Golem avatar upon login.
GWENT: The Witcher Card Game is now available for download over at the Google Play store.
