Rick Owens Drops Double Bumper Canvas High-Top Ramones
A stacked duo-layered midsole.
Following a series of bondage-inspired silhouettes Rick Owens unveiled recently, the eponymous label has just dropped a new silhouette from its Spring/Summer 2020 lineup — the Double Bumper Canvas High-Top Ramones.
The piece sees an elevated double-stacked midsole, complemented by contrasting black canvas uppers. Starting at the top of the shoe are cream-colored laces, looped through metallic eyelets. Adding utility to its high-top construction is a silver-toned zipper opening at the medial side for easy on-and-off. At the lateral side is a thinly stitched motif of a star with an extended bottom edge that resembles that of a dagger. All of these details sit atop a chunky stacked rubber midsole accented by a round toecap and a serrated outsole.
