Prominent streamer and Fortnite master Richard Tyler “Ninja” Blevens has already conquered the world of video games, so now he’s setting foot in the sneaker sphere, teaming up with adidas Originals for a special Nite Jogger “Time In.” An acknowledgment of gaming and streaming’s influence on popular culture, the collaboration also nods to the countless hours that creators — both in the digital and physical worlds — spend honing their craft.

Ninja’s Nite Joggers present a sporty color scheme, combining bright blue and yellow accents with tan and white hues for a layered construction. The medial quarter of each shoe is where the game gets intense, with the left foot presenting the streaming savant’s signature “Ninja” wordmark graphic and the right equipping a “Time In” hit. These yellow embellishments are laid over a blue base, which itself offers a subtle set of printed details. Each graphic is then repeated on its respective shoe’s insole, and a full-foot BOOST midsole provides signature comfort. Gum outsoles complete the look.

“If a kid from Chicago who just loves playing video games can collaborate with one of the sporting world’s most iconic brands to launch a shoe together, anything is truly possible.” said Ninja. “It’s through this philosophy that I hope I can help inspire the next generation of creators to realize their dreams — if you’re willing to put the TIME IN you can achieve anything.”

The Ninja x adidas Nite Jogger “Time In” will release via adidas on December 31. The MSRP has yet to be announced.

Ninja’s occasional Fortnite buddy Travis Scott is making some waves of his own in the footwear world this week too, as we were recently given a first look at his upcoming Nike Air Max 270 React “Cactus Jack.”
