Your First Look at Exclusive Toys Releasing at DesignerCon 2019

Thousands of designer toy enthusiasts will be flocking to the Anaheim Convention Center in California for DesignerCon 2019. The 350,000-square-foot venue will play host to over 800 artists and vendors, including Medicom Toy, Funko, 3DRETRO, KidRobot, ToyQube, Mighty Jaxx, among many others. This year’s themed art installation will pay homage to Mark Hamill entitled “The Many Voices of Mark Hamill.” In addition, a new section called “Beyond Eden” will be on view at the sprawling installment that is dedicated to displaying works by emerging artists in the low-brow, outsider, and pop-surrealist movements.

Of course, a number of exclusive toy releases will be available for purchase at this year’s fair. Medicom Toy will be releasing a Dcon Artist Five Pack (Steven Harrington, Tristan Eaton, Joe Ledbetter, Luke Chueh, KaNO), a ‘Future Mickey’ BE@RBRICK made in collaboration with Hajime Sorayama (100%, 400%, 1000%) as well as an ‘UNREAL’ art statue collaboration with Lauren Tsai and 3DRETRO. Moreover, Matt Gondek will be dropping a new ‘Martian Gondek’ figure with UNRULY INDUSTRIES by SIDESHOW unveiling a ‘Thanos’ figure with a starry makeover to fall in line with the galactic theme.

In other notable releases, Parra & Case Studyo once again teamed up on an edition with the duo purveying a playful ‘Upside Down Face Vase.’
