The Off-White™ x Nike Vapor Street Pack Makes Its Way to StockX

Virgil Abloh is no stranger to creating aesthetic athletic wear in line with his own design philosophies, collaborating with Nike on several performance-based silhouettes up to this point. With Off-White™, Abloh is all about deconstructing and recreating designs with an avant-garde balance of streetwear and luxury. During the label’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection, as part of the “Athlete In Progress” capsule, Virgil debuted the Off-White™ x Nike Vapor Street pack, which embodies this ethos. The collection features three separate colorways in the “Black Laser Fuchsia,” “Polarized Blue” and “Tour Yellow,” all of which are available on StockX. The “Tour Yellow” is the most sought-after of the pack, with an average sale price of $312 USD, trading at 38.9% over MSRP.

Fittingly, Abloh managed to slap some signature Off-White™ detailing onto the Nike Vapor Street shoes with unfinished hems, zip ties, exaggerated traction grips, tape and Helvetica font wording along with quotation marks on the asymmetric lacing system. Overlaying the upper of the shoe is a translucent film that wraps around the entirety of the eclectic runner. The “Black Laser Fuchsia” option sees a leaping combination of black and pink fused together, the “Tour Yellow” contains yellow and black hits mixed with some other visiting colors and the “Polarized Blue” captures blue and yellow clashing at the helm. Rounding out the pack, the sneakers see themselves with textile overlays, react foam cushioning and large black Swoosh branding on the lateral sides of each shoe.
