After joining forces on a merch release for Head in the Clouds II earlier this year, 88rising and artist Hajime Sorayama have linked up on a second round of pieces to celebrate the album’s launch. This time, the duo showcases a darker approach to the artist’s signature “sexy robots” motif by using photo-negative graphics for an 11-piece capsule of tees, crewnecks, gym shorts, trucker hats and more. The collection fuses images of Sorayama’s futuristic works with 88rising’s logo in a monochromatic palette of black, gray and white. Reflective 3M details throughout the lineup provide eye-catching features synonymous with Sorayama’s innovative approach to his designs and are portrayed in the accompanying lookbook above. 88rising has also revealed in a press release that more drops from the collaboration will take place throughout the fall.

All purchases from the 3M 88rising x Sorayama capsule will include a Head in the Clouds II album. Head over to 88nightmarket.com where you can shop the collection now.
