Vans has once again linked up with British outdoor label Finisterre for a new three-silhouette capsule following on from their last release in 2017. The capsule is inspired by surfing and the sea, and features three Vans sneakers that have been updated with a focus on functionality, weatherproofing and sustainability.

The capsule includes the Ultrarange High DL — which is based on a hiking boot and is constructed from eco-synthetic leather and recycled polyester — as well as the durable and strong Destruct and, finally, the Slip-ER, which is printed with Finisterre’s signature paisley pattern.

The sustainability focus sees materials including organic cotton and vegan leather used, while features including laces, webbing and branded tabs are constructed from recycled plastic bottles.

The collection is set to release on September 19, and will be available from the Finisterre web store.

In other footwear news, Vans has also linked up with Ghostly International.
