Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming 10-episode sci-fi series Another Life, which stars intergalactic veteran Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galactica fame. The show follows Commander Niko Breckinridge (Sackhoff) and her crew on a mission to trek to the home planet of an alien ship that has landed on Earth.

Your typical space odyssey hallmarks are present in the trailer above, a hardass leader with a heart of gold, a hodgepodge band of crew members, and a number of sprawling interstellar shots. Back on Earth, Breckinridge’s husband (played by Justin Chatwin) has to find out where the artifact comes from, teasing whatever happened to the alien’s homeworld will eventually happen on Earth due to their presence.

Catch Netflix Original Another Life when it hits the streaming platform on July 25.
