Nike is rolling out a new pair of Air Max2 Lights, following the recent release of a fourth of July-inspired colorway with a pair clad in premium materials and colors of the Golden State Warriors.

Sporting a smooth white upper, “University Gold” and “Game Royal” contrasts arrive in a mix of shiny nylon and fuzzy suede panels. The tongue continues the crisp white look, stamped with “Air Max2” branding and a small tag that reads “Sportswear.” The heel bears a glossed out reflective patch with Nike’s logo, surrounded by “Royal Blue” leather and white Swooshes grace the sidewalls outlined in black. Decked with a white toe box, round laces and sleek midsole, the sneakers are filled with slightly varied textures that add an interesting dimension to the two-toned color scheme. As a finishing touch, the midsole hosts an Air Unit at the heel with a red tint, complemented by blue bubbles at the sides detailed with swirling black hits.

The Nike Air Max2 Light “University Gold/Game Royal” is available now on nike.com for approximately $150 USD.

In other related news, Nike recently tapped Elissa Steamer’s Gnarhunters for an understated SB Zoom Blazer Mid.
