Off the heels of its Spring/Summer 2019 collection, Sasquatchfabrix. has returned with its Fall/Winter 2019 collection, riffing on its signature blend of traditional Japanese textiles and contemporary streetwear.

Dubbed “Matusurowanumono,” the assemblage is made up of various kimono noragi jackets, hakama pants, long puffers, vests and shirts colored with vibrant paint splatters, marble dyes, monochromatic sumi-e prints and all-black fabrics. The collection hosts a diverse range of textiles, stretching all the way from plaided wool to sleek-black nylon down.

Spotlighting the range is a unique footwear collaboration with The North Face: Extra-high hiking boots are equipped with taped zippers, diagonally placed across the middle and framed by bold yellow streaks that end just at the toe caps. The North Face logo appears along the sidewalls. The medial uppers come in white nylon for crisp contrast, while a red outsole underscores the piece. Another notable piece is the paint splattered denim noragi, with its matching bottoms. The base fabric is tinged in a dusty beige palette that gets layered in sporadic hits of teal, blue and black throughout. Other garments like fleece-lined coats, denim long coats, silk gowns, pleated trousers, deep purple velvet shirts, and floral ensembles round out the expansive collection.

The Sasquatchfabrix. FW19 collection will be available at select retailers like ssense.com in the coming seasons.
