Louis Vuitton is hosting an immersive journey through its 160-year-old archive in an exhibition titled “Louis Vuitton X.” The exhibition showcases some of the brand’s most notable collaborations and commissions with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Rei Kawakubo, Cindy Sherman, Frank Gehry, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Prince and Zaha Hadid.

“Louis Vuitton X” will also premiere of the new Artycapucines collection, a selection of original Capucines bags reinterpreted by the contemporary artists Sam Falls, Urs Fischer, Nicholas Hlobo, Alex Israel, Tschabalala Self and Jonas Wood. The Capucines bag is named after the street on which the first Louis Vuitton store opened and has been reinterpreted by the six designers for a limited-edition range.

The exhibition itself features over 180 unique items from the Louis Vuitton archive which spans everything from early twentieth-century special-order trunks, art deco perfume bottles and window displays commissioned and designed by Louis Vuitton’s grandson, Gaston-Louis.

Take a look at some of the standout pieces from the exhibition above and head to “Louis Vuitton X” from June 27 to September 15.
