Nike's Air VaporMax Plus Receives a "Paris Works in Progress" Rework
Inspired by a Parisian courthouse for the “On Air” contest.
Nike “On Air” winner Lou Matheron captures Paris the local way in her Air VaporMax Plus “Paris Works in Progress” design. Taking cues from an under-construction Parisian courthouse, she manifests the worksite’s hues and materials for an eye-catching silhouette.
Constructing the upper in shades of grey, the tongue’s extended striped badge and VaporMax bubble’s similar tints of blue provide a change in visual aesthetic. The pair’s highlights rest in the deconstructed yellow-green Swoosh branding screwed on the lateral sides, a safety buckle that wraps around midfoot and the high-visibility orange and white hazard stripes printed on the insole.
The Nike Air VaporMax Plus “Paris Works in Progress” is expected to have a global release this April for $240 USD. Check out the official imagery and stay tuned for the official drop date.
