Jeremy Scott Unveils Tabloid-Inspired Fall 2019 Collection

Jeremy Scott surprised us with his latest Fall 2019 ready-to-wear collection. Responding to the flaws of digitalized media such as fake news and clickbait, the famed designer collaborated with artist Aleksandra Mir to express various views on the modern craving for sensational content and scandals.

Opting for a black-and-white palette, the entire apparel repertoire is adorned with seemingly endless newspaper headlines which incorporate provocative words like “Meltdown,” “Panic,” and “Psycho.” Other than the aforementioned looks, the label also showcased torn, distressed denim pieces in faded blue, and garments completely covered with achromatic Swarovski crystals.
