Last week saw the return of both Meek Mill and Earl Sweatshirt to the rap world.

Meek delivered his fourth studio album, Championships, which touched on his time in prison and featured the official end of his beef with Drake. Everything surrounding the release is expected to help the project move 150,000-175,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, with 24,000-27,000 being pure sales. Quite a lot more than Meek’s last album, Wins & Losses, which pulled in 102,000 when it debuted.

Following an extended hiatus, Earl Sweatshirt dropped his latest project, Some Rap Songs, which comes months after the passing of his father. The rapper’s personal third studio album is expected to see 28,000-33,000 album equivalent units in its first week — not too far off from the 30,000 his last release, I Don’t Like Shit, saw when it dropped in 2015.
