With its initial unveiling at Basel World, Longines has finally released more information regarding its Nautilus-tribute Heritage Skin Diver watch. Sitting 2mm larger on the wrist than its predecessor, the 42mm Heritage Skin Diver features a PVD coated unidirectional bezel, an unguarded screw-in crown, domed sapphire glass with AR coating, and Super-LumiNova lume. As this is a homage to the original — now-vintage — skin diver, similar trademark details can be found, like a decorated caseback depicting a scuba diver with spear in hand, 3/6/9/12 Arabic numerals, an arrow-like hour hand matched with a tapered minute hand, and finally, a matte black dial with golden-brown indices — mimicking patina.

Powered by a Longines Calibre L888.2 (base ETA A31.L01), the watch beats at 25,200 BPH, and has a rather long power reserve of 64 hours. The best part about this watch is the price. Longines has priced this at $2,600 USD, making it one of the more affordable entry-level, Swiss-made mechanical watches on the market.
